Spencer Howson is Queensland’s most respected and experienced radio broadcaster with over 14,000 hours of live daily talk radio under his belt.
Spencer became a household name after 24 years at the ABC, including 15 years hosting the top-rating ABC Brisbane breakfast show. In 2005, Spencer was named ABC Local Radio Broadcaster of the Year.
He remains at the ABC as the Programme Quality Advisor, working with ABC radio presenters, producers and managers around regional Australia to ensure programs are of the highest possible quality.
Spencer is also an industry fellow, lecturer and tutor at the University of Southern Queensland.
